The International Workshop on Monitoring and Evaluation of the Purchase from Africans for Africa (PAA Africa) Project will take place on 19, 20, and 21 December 2016 at WFP Headquarters in Rome, Italy.
Between 19 and 21 December 2016, in Rome (Italy), the World Food Programme (WFP) will host the International Workshop on “Monitoring and Evaluation of Purchase from Africans for Africa (PAA AFrica) Project: Learning from the Results, Reflecting on the Way Forward”, with support from the governments of Brazil and the United Kingdom.
The workshop objectives are to take stock of the progress made by the PAA Project, learning on the monitoring and evaluation, and from the case-studies across the countries, while sharing experience among partners and stakeholders from 7 African countries (including Gambia and Kenya).
The initiative shall bring together around 60 participants, including Government representatives, Civil Society, Academia, International bodies, FAO, WFP and other relevant partners of the international development community.
The workshop will focus on: 1. Monitoring, 2. Evaluation, 3. Case-studies.
Interactive work-group discussions will be conducted on the main topics of the workshop to engage participants in the identification of challenges and possible improvements in the scale-up of PAA Africa Project.
